Open Air STEAM

STEM For All is bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Arts (STEAM) out into the open. Enjoy the outdoors and inhale a bit of STEAM.   Our students and their families have installed many exhibits and displays at the sidewalks of Chippewa Middle School in Okemos. We had similar displays at Nancy Moore Park in Okemos during the entire month of April 2021 as part of MSU Science Festival.

Most of these exhibits were built by Future Scientists of STEM For All, who are currently school students of Greater Lansing area. These exhibits cover a wide variety of STEAMing hot topics, including Mission to Mars, Launch America, discovering some of Galileo’s and Newton’s laws on your own, scale model of the solar system, several space missions including those to asteroids, optics, electricity and magnetism, rockets, airplanes, splitting atoms (safely), and many more.

STEM For All is starting Open Air STEAM coaching in public parks and other open areas. First two sessions will be at the Marketplace on the Green, the newly built Farmers Market at the Meridian Mall in Okemos.

These two sessions will be free and open to the public.

Find out how we are trying to build a science center.

What Kind of Science Center Are We Building?

Imagine a Science Center
where YOU can
See an Exhibit,
Touch it,
Play with it,
Experiment with it,
Break it (accidentally),
Repair it,
Rebuild it,
Improvise it,
Make a Replica and Take it Home
Here, you will not only be inspired, YOU will inspire others.
YOU can be a student who will be building the entire science center.
