STEM For All Students Will Simulate NASA’s Mars 2020 Mission in a Soccer Field

Before NASA’s Perseverance reaches halfway to Mars, our students will take you and your entire family all the way to Mars. We will have a scale model of the solar system, with the first four planets and their orbits. You can be any of the planets or the spacecraft. You can walk at the scale speeds of the planets while one of your family members can walk at the scale speed of the spacecraft leaving Earth on July 30, 2020 and reaching Mars on February 18, 2021. All these in less than 30 minutes while learning a lot about the solar system, rockets, spacecraft, and especially about NASA’s Mars 2020 Mission.

There is a lot of fun and learning in this fascinating event, guided by STEM For All students. This event is open to all and is free. Come with your entire family.

Our exhibits will have QR Codes. When you scan these QR Codes using your mobile device, you can watch our Future Scientists explain the exhibits. Please download your favorite QR Code scanning app on your mobile device ahead of time.

Due to COVID-19, all of us must follow strict social distancing guidelines. Face cover is a must. Therefore, even though it is free, everyone will be required to pre-register.
